    Are you a Human Resources professional looking for a new challenge? Mid Coast–Parkview Health is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Human Resources Representative to join our HR team, help support our employees, and become part of a dynamic healthcare organization. 

    The Human Resources Representative provides support to all employees. The Representative serves as a primary resource to employees in the areas of benefits, administrative processes and responsible for HR clerical functions.  The Representative provides primary back-up assistance to staff in the Human Resources office, ensuring a great employee experience and optimal operating efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Primary source for internal and external customers, providing professional and courteous phone and office coverage during normal working hours.
    • Assists employees with questions related to benefit enrollments and changes, policy questions and leave of absence paperwork.
    • Identifies issues and stakeholders, determines appropriate referrals as needed, and follows-up as necessary to ensure problem resolution.
    • Provides analytical support to the HR department. 

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, PHR a plus.
    • Five years of progressive business experience, three in human resources capacity, preferred
    • Computer literacy to include word processing and spreadsheet use; knowledge of databases preferred.
    • Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive employee issues.
    • Able to maintain high degree of professionalism and to strictly protect confidential information.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer skills are necessary.
    • Able to juggle multiple projects and handle frequent interruptions.
    • Demonstrate ability to see the bigger picture and anticipate implications of actions.
    • Analyze technical information, evaluating alternatives and exercising sound judgement within established guidelines.
