    Mid Coast Medical Group, affiliated with Mid Coast Hospital which is a 93 bed Joint Commission- certified community hospital located in Brunswick, Maine is seeking Practice Director to join Mid Coast Medical Group Family Practice at Parkview. Responsible for the leadership of this primary care practice services, the Practice Director furthers the mission of Mid Coast Medical Group by providing high quality services to patients and colleagues. 

     

    Mid Coast Medical Group Family Practice at Parkview is a team of 8 providers that are well-positioned to provide routine and preventative care for families and individuals throughout the community.

    Responsibilities

    The Practice Director is responsible for ensuring that the quality, patient satisfaction, capital, and financial goals of the practice are achieved. 

     

    Primary tasks will include:

    • Oversee daily operations, supervise staff, work closely with management and providers
    • Participate in the recruitment, training, development, and orientation of employees
    • Assume responsibility for scheduling maximum use of clinical resources
    • Support providers according to their needs and monitor provider productivity
    • Work with community partners (i.e. NCQA, Quality Counts) to improve primary care access. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • Minimum 3 years related healthcare/practice administration experience required
    • 3 years of leadership experience preferred
    • Experience working in primary care preferred; experience with pediatric patients strongly preferred
    • Involvement with quality initiatives that includes provider and staff participation
    • Strong leadership skills; ability to prioritize time and tasks efficiently and effectively for self and others
    • Thorough understanding with all aspects of practice operations, including clinical and financial
