The Clinical Nurse Supervisor at Mid Coast Hospital is responsible for all aspects of clinical management of patient care including assessment, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. Our nurses demonstrate high standards of professional practice including collegiality, collaboration, ethics, research, resource utilization and leadership.
The role of the RN Clinical Supervisor is also often referred to as House Supervisor. This key role provides direct assistance, support and resources to clinical nurses. The clinical consultant plays a key leadership role in the hospital during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays providing support and communication to providers, nurses and support staff.
