    Mid Coast Parkview Health, a 93 bed Joint Commission certified community hospital system located in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Lead Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team.   Responsible for the clinical and team leadership of the outpatient Addiction Resource and Partial Hospitalization programs, the Lead Clinician ensures that the mission of Mid Coast–Parkview is successful by providing leadership and guidance to downline direct service clinicians and department support colleagues. 


    As the only Magnet certified community hospital in Maine, our entire team of dedicated medical professionals and allied support services are committed to outstanding community focused healthcare.   Working closely with medical providers, departmental colleagues, Administration and clinical leadership, as well as allied departments in a highly cooperative and collaborative environment is critical for this position.

    Responsibilities

    The Lead Clinician is responsible for ensuring that the quality, patient satisfaction, capital, and financial goals of the department are achieved. Key areas of responsibility include the day-to-day clinic management and client flow including scheduling, evaluations, assessments and direct patient treatment.   Team oversight includes limited clinical and work day supervision, schedule coordination and daily clinic management.  This position requires a high degree of interpersonal and communications skills, including verbal and written with a high degree of collaborative work among clinical colleagues and other treatment and support partners.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Addictions Treatment, or related field. 
    • Independent licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Addictions Treatment (LADS w/CCS, LCPC, LCSW).
    • Minimum of 3 years in the field of addictions and co-occuring treatment integration.
    • Minimum of 2 years of sobriety at time of hire if in recovery.
