  • Overview

    The Data Systems Analyst will possess excellent analytical skills, advanced understanding of reporting out of relational databases and knowledge of the healthcare industry. The main focus is to support report development, data collection/warehousing and data analysis needs throughout all areas of the organization. The Data Systems Analyst works closely with all members of the Information Services (IS) applications team, technical team, department directors, managers, and end users in all applicable areas, as well as vendors, to implement and maintain data reporting solutions.


    • Together with the rest of the Applications team, assist with ensuring application data integrity including educating users on proper usage and proper values being put into the application.
    • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, IT team members and end users.
    • Work to optimize the use of our existing systems.
    • Encourage improvement of the quality of service provided by the IS department through communication within the department and communication with our customers.
    • Participate in committees or Ad Hoc groups as assigned.
    • Promote compliance with best practice solutions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the team, department and/or organization.
    • Create and update end-user documentation.
    • Create and update standard work for internal processes.


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
    • 3+ years’ relevant Data Analyst experience required.
    • Experience with all aspects of data related to the healthcare industry is strongly preferred. (clinical, pharmacy, financial, ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, HCPCS codes, medical coding, quality, etc.)
    • Certification from a major relational database vendor preferred (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
