Lead the strategic and operational components of an outpatient and inpatient comprehensive community oncology program.  


Demonstrates outstanding skill and expertise in leading people and growing clinical programs to a place of clinical excellence and market preference in a competitive environment.


In partnership with Medical Director and senior leaders, lead a multidisciplinary group of stakeholders across ambulatory, acute and community environments to develop world-class oncology program with excellent clinical and financial outcomes.



  • Partner with service line leader at the MMC – MaineHealth system to integrate, coordinate and align clinical programs for branding, research/clinical trials, navigation, survivorship, quality data, tumor conference and utilization of NCCN guidelines
  • Grow referrals to Mid Coast – Parkview Health's oncology program (medical and surgical appropriate to community setting) to excess of 60% of market share
  • Provide day to day management of ambulatory and infusion practice operations. Recruit and train a high performing team of physicians, advanced practice, clinical and office staff who are aligned with mission and vision of exquisite customer service and patient care throughout the system. 
  • Establish excellent relationships with referring physicians and organizations, including periodic and regular outreach and visibility
  • Support the chair of the Cancer Care Committee and oversee Commission on Cancer Accreditation process
  • Develop systems and structure of care delivery that optimize a positive patient experience and efficiency of providers throughout the continuum
  • Establish a positive work environment for the team through accessible and responsive leadership styl
  • Develop and execute outreach and marketing plan, including metrics, timeline, relationships with referring organizations in collaboration with Mid Coast – Parkview Health community relations and outreach team and MaineHealth system.

  • Excellent computer skills, facile use of Microsoft programs ( Word, Power Point, etc.). Able to collate and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Polished presentation skills in front of physicians, boards, community groups, nurses and other clinicians.
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience require
  • Minimum 3 years related experience required; healthcare/practice administration
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership and/or management experience
  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize time and tasks efficiently and effectively for self and others
  • Thorough understanding and experience with all aspects of practice operations, including clinical and financial
