This position is responsible for coordinating job postings, interviews, creating offers and onboarding new hires.  The Clinical Recruiter works closely with designated Directors to ensure that positions are filled promptly with quality candidates.  The Clinical Recruiter provides management of the nurse traveler program for the organization.  This position participates in the company orientation program and organizes presenters as needed.



  • Utilizes applicant tracking system to post positions, screen candidates and interviews applicants as needed. Monitors activity for postings and recommends new advertising or posting modifications to attract candidates.
  • Understands compensation structure and develops offers based on organization criteria.
  • Coordinates all required pre-hire employee screening or testing.
  • Participates in job fairs or other networking activities to drive recognition of Mid Coast as an employer of choice.  In coordination with the Recruiting team, leverage all aspects of sourcing candidates including social networking and employee referrals.
  • Develop a pipeline of applicants for future openings.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate and manager experience by providing thorough communications and timely feedback.
  • Ensures compliance with all internal policies and applicable federal and state regulations.



  • Prepares welcome letters for new hires to direct them on first day activities.
  • Prepares badge and new hire paperwork as necessary. 
  • Coordinates day 1 schedule with manager/director.



  • Participates in company orientation and organizes presenters.
  • Coordinates material needs and room needs.


  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field
  • 3-5 years of Human Resource experience; recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
