Overview

The Clinical Nurse II at Mid Coast Hospital is a professional position. The primary area of responsibility is the clinical management of patient care. The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for the independent assessment, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. He/She demonstrates positive standards of professional practice including quality of practice, education, professional practice evaluation, collegiality, collaboration, ethics, research, resource utilization, and leadership. This level is accepted as the standard of practice at Mid Coast Hospital.

The Float Pool RN will float to the following departments: Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, Digestive Health, Maternity and the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

  • RN Licensure, State of Maine
  • BLS
  • ACLS and PALS required within six mnths of hire
  • Two years of Medical/Surgical experience preferred
