Overview

Supports the therapy staff by providing and coordinating office/clerical responsibilities to ensure the timely provision of patient services and communication with referring/payer sources.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally represents the department
  • Coordinates new patient admissions to the various rehab programs
  • Coordinates returning patients to the various rehab programs
  • Provides clerical support to general office activities
  • Assumes responsibility for continuing education and attends all departmental meetings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology
  • Strong inter-personal skills
  • Scheduling experience
