Overview

 

 

This position works under the supervisor of the Supervisor and on-duty cook. The Dietary Aide performs a variety of patient/customer food service functions in one or more of the following areas: Dish Room, patient tray side, and nourishments, as well as other related tasks in accordance with department/organizational goals and objectives and in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred but not required
  • Prior experience of food service, preferably in a health care/institutional setting desired but not required.
  • Able to learn through on the job training.
