    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)at Mid Coast Senior Health Center provides general nursing care to residents under the direction of an RN or LPN. CNA services include meeting the needs of residents in the area of hygiene, rehabilitation, activities and environmental asepsis.  The CNA functions within the guidelines set forth by state certification, federal and state regulations, and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Mid Coast Senior Health Center.  The CNA is a pivotal and vital member of the team in meeting patient needs and supporting the care of patients. 





    • Performs assigned duties in a timely and organized manner
    • Demonstrates a high level of respect for residents by promoting their dignity, and privacy and by responding with genuine caring and interest to their needs
    • Takes responsibility for assigned resident rehabilitation activities including ambulation, range of motion, transfers according to the plan of care set by nursing, and physical therapy and occupational therapy
    • Works consistently to establish good rapport and a professional working relationship with nursing and other department personnel





    • High School Diploma
    • Maine CNA Certification and Current Registry
